Archers Brings the Party to Dallas, TX

Archers brought their Temporary High Tour to Trees down in Dallas, TX a few nights ago and, if you missed this show, you truly missed something spectacular. Accompanied by Dead Eyes, Of Virtue, and Rivals, the tour package gave fans exactly what they needed to throw down. From hardcore riffs to emotional riffs and everything in between, is there really anything better?

Starting the night off with a bang was Dead Eyes and start the night they did. Not only were they some of the nicest guys I've ever had the chance to talk to (keep an eye out for something special), they brought the heavy. Playing several songs from their upcoming EP, I found countless fans singing and screaming their hearts out while head banging the set away.

Coming to the stage next was Of Virtue, a band that readers of Music Scene Media should be all too familiar with. With their high energy, fast riffs, and ability to get the crowd going, it was the best way to follow up an already spectacular start to the night. Each song that the band played just seemed to amplify the already amped up and psyched crowd.

Rivals took the stage next and I was quite surprised with the band's set. While I've heard the name before, this was my first time getting to experience the band perform. Right from the start, the duo brought the energy of a headliner as they danced and head-banged across the stage. With a quick feature from Dead Eyes vocalist Zach Willams, Rivals left the crowd with their jaws on floor and left the stage with countless new diehard fans.

After much partying and having fun, it was finally time for Archers to hit the stage. This is a band that I've been dying to see every since I reviewed their single, "Never Enough", back in May of this year. As the band proceeded to give the performance of a lifetime, all you could see was appeared to be an ocean of fans with their arms in the air while they sang along to each and every word the band played. You would think that eventually the band would tire from the electric energy they already brought, but it was quite the opposite. It was almost as though the energy from the crowd continued to fuel the band even further.

I mean this from the bottom of my heart when I say that I hope this is not the last time that Archers visits Dallas, TX. As the Temporary High Tour is winding down to an end, I am sure the future holds much more touring for Archers.
