Leading the new wave in K-pop, bringing a show of this splendor into America is a sight to be seen and heard.

The eight-member South Korean boy group, ATEEZ, is known for their powerful performances and immersive storytelling. Quickly rising to international stardom, they are surely earning their reputation as leaders of K-pop’s new generation. With a passionate global fanbase known as ATINY, ATEEZ is continuing to break records on the charts and break the boundaries in their performances.
As soon as the group took the stage, the crowd erupted. From the crowd, a sea of light sticks were glowing in the air as soon as the lights dimmed, starting the show off on a high note. ATEEZ took a moment at the top of their large stage to take in the moment before exploding into dance with their first song, “BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS).” Their tight choreography and dazzling outfits were super eye-catching on the stage, making the members stand out in their own unique way. From San’s intensity to Jongho’s beautiful vocals, this crowd was certainly swooning.

Notably, outside of Wrigley Field, a street camera captured one of the loudest fan chants ever, turning heads for blocks away. Wrigley Field itself was lit up, with custom signage and photo opportunities throughout the venue, showing the dedication to these fans having a fantastic experience.
But, it was not all about the spectacle. ATEEZ has a unique flavor to their choreography and dance moves; telling stories using props and backup dancers on stage really tells a story, so different from what other acts are doing right now.
Making their way down to the front of the stage, each member got to have the moment to interact with the front row and even reach their hands out to the top rows. The gesture was a way to say, “Hi! I see you up there,” even to the fans at the very back row. These moments were vulnerable, yet so appreciated by the fans — exactly what this genre lives for. The fans are the heart of what makes this music and K-Pop as a whole so different and magical.

Visually, this concert was top-notch. Their large LED screens were constantly displaying one gorgeous visual after another without taking away from the magic of the boys on stage.
The highlight of the night came from the encore; after a short break, the fans were stoked to see what was left in store from the boys. As they ran across the stage for one last time, their song “The Real” screamed across the speakers. During these moments, they took time to wave to fans and even laugh with each other between the verses; you can truly tell they love what they do. Performing is just one piece of their career, but they show the fan love constantly.
