2025 was the first year BTS fully reunited since 2022, as they all completed South Korea’s mandatory military service. Now, at the start of 2026, their agency confirmed a comeback via X. ARMY Gold Members were the first to see a card with handwritten messages from the entire septet, which included a new logo and the date: March 20, 2026.

Leader RM wrote, “Finally, finally, finally, the year 2026 has arrived. I’ve waited for it more earnestly than anyone else. I’ve missed you so much. BTS is coming. BTS is coming!”
Jin, who spent much of last year on tour, said, “Over the past couple of years, I greeted you as a solo artist, but now I’m finally here as part of the team again. Thank you so much for waiting. We’ll do our best.”
“Happy New Year, ARMY. A new year has begun again. I wish you all the best this year. I’ve missed you so much. Let’s have fun together. I love you. See you soon.”, added SUGA.
j-hope, who had an eventful summer with three hit singles, expressed excitement with, “Everyone the new year has arrived. It’s finally the year we get to spend with you. I’m really looking forward to it. What I hoped for has come true. Let’s be happy, have fun, and stay together. Let’s go, ARMY.”
Jimin said, “A new year has come, the year we finally meet. We’re sending our hearts to ARMY who always cheer for us. I hope this year brings even more happiness than the last.”
Signed with his full name (Kim Taehyung / 김태형), V penned, “In 2026, we’ll move forward together with even more good memories, so please look forward to it. It’s been a while since our last album, so I’m a little nervous, but I’ll do my best. I really missed you so much.”
Jungkook warmly wrote, “Hello ARMY, this is Jungkook. Are you healthy? I miss you. I always feel the same way and I’m always smiling like before. I look forward to being together in 2026. I wish you all the best.”
BTS continues to be uniquely earnest in their genuine nurturing of their relationship with fans. It’s not just part of the job; to them it's a true connection. They prepared well in advance so that ARMY would never be without company while they went away, as the members took turns releasing solo projects and special content before and during their enlistments.
Since July, they’ve shared glimpses into their upcoming work – posting photos and videos in rehearsal rooms and studios, teasing a world tour and new music that will reflect their thoughts and feelings, and asking via livestreams what songs should go on the setlist. Whatever’s in store, it’s going to be a big year! BTS is back!
