Cannibal Corpse brought their North American tour to Raleigh, NC on 10/14/2025 at The Ritz. Joining them on stage was Fulci, Full of Hell, and Municipal Waste. This show was truly incredible and a huge one to cross of on my personal bucket list. Cannibal Corpse has been a huge influence on my personal music taste, so I was so excited to finally see them perform!

The band to kick off the night was the Italian death metal band, Fulci. I personally had not heard of this band before, but I was very impressed! They sounded amazing and really set the tone for the whole show. All of their songs are based off of works of horror. They performed songs such as "Apocalypse Zombie", "Voodoo Gore Ritual", "Tropical Sun", "Eye Full of Maggots", and many more! This band was a great surprise, and I will be adding them to my music rotations.

Full of Hell is a powerviolence/grindcore band based out of Maryland and Pennsylvania. To sum it up quickly, this band was full of energy! It was almost hard to keep up with everything going on. I loved the experimental sounds and fast paced of it all! The stage presence was impeccable. My attention was on them for their entire set! The crowd was definitely very interested as well, and reciprocating the energy right back to them. I was surprised to see them on this bill, as the show had been advertised as just being Fulci, Municipal Waste, and Cannibal Corpse from everything I had seen before the show. I am glad that they played this show though, because it was a very cool experience!

Municipal Waste was up next to take the stage. Municipal Waste is a thrash metal band hailing from Richmond, VA. This was definitely not their first rodeo, as they have been crushing the stages since they formed in 2000. I was so hyped to see them perform again. They are so rowdy and entertaining, I feel like everyone can have a blast during their set no matter what age, gender, race, etc.! Municipal Waste brings such a fun vibe to every show they play. They came to party in Raleigh for sure, playing songs such as "Garbage Stomp", "Thrashing's My Business...And Business Is Good", and Slime and Punishment". Vocalist, Tony Foresta was joking around the whole time. You can tell how much fun he is having at these shows for real. He asked for the crowd to do a circle pit around the infamous pole in the middle of The Ritz venue instead of circling in the middle of the room for their set. He even joked to us photographers in the pit, asking us to catch some crowdsurfers. During "Wave of Death," he asked everyone to stop the circle pit to crowdsurf as much as possible and to make security sweat. I have NEVER seen so many crowdsurfers at one time, and they just kept coming like a wave for the entirety of the song. It was very impressive, and security was certainly stressed. After all of that partying, Municipal Waste dedicated a song to a friend of their's that had passed recently and then, of course, finished off their set with "Born to Party". It is always a great time seeing Municipal Waste party.

Last, but not least to take the stage was the band that everyone was waiting in anticipation to see, Cannibal Corpse. Cannibal Corpse formed in 1988 in Buffalo, NY and are huge pioneers for death metal music. They are truly iconic performers and artists for the genre. It was so exciting to see them play, as I have missed them each time they have come to NC over the last few years. I was not disappointed at all! They put on such an amazing show and the crowd loved it as well. I don't think I have ever seen so much hair on one stage, and the constant headbanging was honestly very impressive! Joining them on stage on guitar in place of Rob Barrett was the infamous Brandon Ellis.

Cannibal Corpse had a lengthy set, consisting of songs from their entire discography. They played older songs such as, "Inhumane Harvest", "Death Walking Terror", "The Wretched Spawn", "I Cum Blood", and a few new songs off their recent full-length album that was released in 2023, "Chaos Horrific". Naturally, after a full night of pure engaging death metal, they ended their set with "Hammer Smashed Face". It was so wonderful to finally see them perform! I have been dying to see them for so many years. I hope to see them again in the future as well!

Cannibal Corpse, Municipal Waste, and Fulci have been on tour for five weeks now, but they still have a few more shows to go for this tour! Make sure to catch them if they're in your city!
