When soul-searching comes with energy and starlight: Brighton Music Hall was filled with energy on Tuesday night, as Boston hosted the fourth stop of Duckwrth's tour, with ten U.S. shows still to go.

From the opening pulse of "Toxic Romance" off of his new album, All American F*ckboy, the crowd matched Duckwrth's energy beat for beat. It was made clear that his fanbase is passionate about his artistry. He sported his star-face look, complemented with star-studded jeans, symbolizing "Vice": an alter ego who speaks the truths he'd normally hesitate to share — unfiltered and unvarnished.

He tore into new tracks like "Ken Doll," "Escapist," "Grey Scale," and "Temporary Pleasures." These tracks fit right into the confessional tone of All American F*ckboy, an album that's exposed, honest, and at times uneasy with its own exposure. Duckwrth has said he was nervous to even release it — laying bare the internal work, the vulnerabilities, and the things he's still wrestling with — and despite wrestling through these difficult feelings, his fans in the crowd showed him the utmost support and cheered him on through it all.

As Duckwrth showcased these vulnerable tracks, pouring all of his emotions into them, the show played as a wonderful celebration of confronting shadows and celebrating highs.
