Caskets have built a global reputation on emotional honesty and cinematic anthems. The Leeds-based quartet exploded onto the scene with the success of "Glass Heart" in 2020, which was released as one of the lead singles off of their debut album, Lost Souls. Their music openly explores themes of struggle, self-reflection, and resilience, causing them to resonate deeply with fans worldwide.

And now, the band is preparing to release their most vulnerable work yet with their highly-anticipated third album, The Only Heaven You'll Know. Of the album, vocalist Matt Flood shares:

This record is the sound of me falling apart in real time. Every song is a confession. About love that rots you from the inside, about pretending you’re okay when you're drowning, about trying to find peace in a world that makes you feel nothing. The Only Heaven You’ll Know isn't about salvation — it's about surviving the wreckage when it never comes.
If you want to listen to something that's real, raw, has real-life passion and trauma in it, something that's catchy and believable, you’ll find it here. If someone needs it, I hope it helps them through a hard time, or just evokes some sort of feeling. Because it’s all real.

I had the opportunity to chat with Matt recently about the album, the heavy themes behind it, and how finding a light in the darkness has shaped both the music and the man behind it.
