Just weeks after G-Eazy finished his world tour, the rapper hit the road again, now with the Helium Tour, in support for the upcoming album of the same name. With no official release date, fans are left speculating yet excitedly anticipating to finally hear new material.

G-Eazy brought out Marc E. Bassy and Goody Grace as opening acts for the tour, and they got their job done. Hands were waving and hips were swinging, as more people were coming into the venue, starting off the night. While the anticipation for G was high, people weren’t holding back and were fully enjoying the openers.

The show took place in The Fox Theater, located in downtown Bakersfield, which is considered a historic landmark of the town. Perhaps an interesting choice of venue for a rap performance, with a proper theater layout and assigned seating, but by the time the concert started no one was using the seats but dancing along to the music.

The setlist of the night was extensive, featuring songs from all seven of his albums, including hits like "Tumblr Girls", "I Mean It", and "Him & I". It was clear the theater was filled with fans, because everyone was giving the same level of energy and enthusiasm even for the lesser known tracks and screaming “We love you Gerald!”.

G-Eazy knows how to work the crowd, constantly engaging with those standing nearest to the stage, fist bumping and taking fans phones to take a selfie. During the song "No Limit", originally recorded with Cardi B, G gave the microphone to a fan in the front row to sing Cardi's verse and she handled it with confidence.

Particularly popular with the female part of the audience, G-Eazy’s charisma and intense eye contract makes the ladies go wild, as can be witnessed by a collection of bras thrown on the stage and later hung on the mic stand.

During the night the rapper opened up about his fears of not knowing if the tour will sell or who will be coming to the shows and was met with loud cheers and applause from the audience. Reassured by the response, he expressed his gratitude, thanking the crowd for coming out and for the continued support throughout the years.

G-Eazy finished with an encore performance of "Lady Killers" and "Anxiety", ending the night on a high note leaving the fans satisfied and buzzing for the upcoming album.
