Do you know how great a show has to be that when you leave that you immediately can't wait to get to the car to start playing the discography of the bands that played that night? Well, that's how it felt as the venue lights turned on at The Studio at the Factory in Dallas, TX as LANDMVRKS, joined alongside NOVELISTS and Resolve, closed out the night on their first ever North American headline tour.

Starting out the night was Resolve and I was immediately hit with a wave of deja-vu because it was one of those moments where I thought, "Wait... I know this band, don't I?" and that couldn't have been more true. I fell in love with the band back in 2021 with the release of their album "Between Me and The Machine". The band has continued to ascend the metalcore ladder from being featured on LANDMVRKS' 2022 release, "Lost in the Waves (Complete Edition)," and with their collab with Paleface Swiss and ten56. on the hit song "Older Days". As Resolve took the stage in Dallas, they were greeted with a roar of applause from the crowd and delivered some of the most pristine and incredible sounding music to ever grace my ears. From mosh pits to circle pits to fans of all ages having the time of their life, it would be safe to say that Resolve set the bar for the night extremely high.

Hitting the stage next was yet another band I could have sworn I have seen perform live before. Yes. I'm talking about NOVELISTS. Their hit single, "Herectic", features LANDMVRKS and showed the true skill of the band. 2023 saw the induction of current vocalist Camille Contreras and with that brought 2025's "CODA", an album that in my opinion has solidified NOVELISTS place as metalcore royalty. Their set was crippled with circle pits, mosh pits, and an endless barrage of crowd surfers that showed Dallas that they are a force not to be trifled with. And just when fans thought the night couldn't have gotten any better, Florent Salfati joined the band on stage to close the set with a bang. I haven't heard that much of an applause for an act in quite some time.

After much waiting, fans finally got to experience the moment they were waiting for. LANDMVRKS took the stage to a sea of happy fans, and even the venue staff and paramedics gave a cheer, and were ready to deliver a night of pure positive chaos. Now, I will excuse the H-Town jersey worn because it seemed to be a custom band jersey, but c'mon Dallas. We can't let Houston beat us like that.
Each and every moment of the set continued to prove better than the moment before. Combine a wall of death, crowd surfers, mosh pits, and a quick break to create some art on stage, and you got yourself an amazing time. While this was not my first time catching the boys in LANDMVRKS, I believe this was their first ever time in the United States as headliners and I am so happy that Dallas showed the band that this was something we weren't taking for granted. No matter where you looked in the venue, you could see someone having a euphoric time and wanting the moment to never end.
I'm sure I speak for the hundreds of fans in attendance when I say that what Dallas needs as soon as possible is another dose of that good French metalcore, and I hope that LANDMVRKS is going to lead that charge.
