The Foundry in Philadelphia was truly spooked when The Haunt made their first stop of the New Addiction Tour on October 15th, 2025. The tour is in celebration of their recently released album, "New Addiction," and it made for an incredible night for everyone, featuring opening acts from Chez and World's First Cinema.
Kicking the night off strong was Chez, an alternative pop artist from Australia. Chez wowed fans as she constantly interacted with the crowd, not only by performing her singles, "Self Sabotage," "Friends," and more, but she even busted out her Philadelphia accent, getting the audience's approval. And of course, a Philadelphia show isn't truly complete without a "go birds" chant eventually happening for the Philadelphia Eagles, which Chez happily participated in.

Up next was the alternative indie band World's First Cinema. Lead member of the band Jin immediately caught fans' attention when he pulled out his electric violin and sounded incredible. With the recent release of their album, "Something of Wonder", World's First Cinema performed multiple songs off of it, like "The Underneath" and "Freak Show." By blending various types of genres like electronic, indie, and classical, World's First Cinema successfully made their set feel and sound truly cinematic.

The time had finally come for The Haunt. Fans were ecstatic, getting as close to the stage as they could. The room went dark, and then The Haunt walked on stage to "Bring Da Ruckus" by the Wu-Tang Clan. Starting their set off strong, The Haunt opened with "Bad Omen," which immediately got fans jumping up and down. Lead singer Anastasia towered over the audience on a box she brought on stage, which added a nice element of stage presence for the performance, and lead guitarist Maxamillion kept fans active and moving by engaging with fans and giving them things to do, like clapping their hands, jumping around, and having fans pull out their flashlights for an intimate moment. The Haunt kept playing banger after banger, like "Little Like Hell" and "Claws."

The chemistry with all the band members on stage was truly incredible to watch. You could tell how much fun they were having with each other and the fans. After performing more songs from their debut album, like "Dead 2 Me" and "Going Under," it was almost time for the show to end, with them performing "Wish You Stayed," but fans wanted even more. The Haunt ended the night off strong by coming back on for an encore and performing "Masochistic Lovers."

With the New Addiction Tour just beginning, this show is a can't miss. Check out their tour schedule and their new album!
