Get ready, South Dakota! Rock the Country Festival is making a stop in Sioux Falls this summer, and the lineup is stacked with your rock and country favorites. Taking place July 18th and 19th at WH Lyon Fairgrounds, this touring festival brings together the best of country and rock for a high-energy weekend featuring headliners Nickelback and Kid Rock.
The "Rock the Country" festival was created by Kid Rock (headlining on Friday night) as a way to bring the country and rock music genres together. The official Rock the Country website states “Rock The Country is more than just a festival—it's a gathering for the true heart of America.” The festival aims to celebrate the values of small-town America and create a gathering place for hardworking, blue collar people to kick back and enjoy the summer heat.

The first "Rock the Country" festival took place in 2024, featuring artists like Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others. The festival has been expanded in 2025, with multiple stops across “10 small towns”, including Sioux Falls, SD.
Headlining Saturday night is Nickelback, the multi-platinum rock band behind some of the most popular rock songs of the 2000s. Expect to hear a night full of hits and fan favorites like “Rockstar,” “Far Away,” and “Animals.”

Joining them for the Saturday date is Grammy-winning, multi-platinum country music singer/songwriter, Travis Tritt, known for many 90’s hits such as “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” and “It’s great day to be alive”— but thats not all, the rest of Saturday is filled with even more entertainment including Gavin Adcock, Mark Chesnutt, Deana Carter, Them Dirty Roses, Afroman, and more!
It’s a weekend built for tailgaters, rock lovers, and country fans alike. The festival grounds will be packed with everything you’d hope for great music, cold drinks, food trucks, and a whole lot of fans who know how to have a good time.
