After the release of their 8th studio album, An Ending In Itself, Sleeping with Sirens have taken the album on tour alongside Shy Eye and Rain City Drive. Even though they're taking their newest release on tour, that didn't stop them from performing some older fan-favorite tracks.
Starting off the evening was Nashville-based group Shy Eye. Walking out with swagger and smiles, the group took the stage with their melancholy music, but don't let the music fool you. The group was all smiles and waves and made a very friendly impression on the audience.

For anyone who is a fan of Sleeping with Sirens and Julia Wolf (bonus points if you really liked Julia Wolf and Kellin Quinn's most recent collab), this is the perfect band to watch out for. They played cohesively, and they will be a band that I️ can see having massive success in the next couple of years.
Next up on the lineup, we have Rain City Drive. The Floridians hit the stage in Philly with confidence and heavy bass. They definitely got the crowd to start crowd surfing and moshing. The first crowd surfer of the night was at the start of the band's set, and they kept on coming up.

One thing I️ will say that Rain City Drive did a great job on is pleasing a Philly crowd. By what I️ mean is this is a sports town; if you want people to like you, yelling "Go Birds" does the trick every time. The minute they yelled that phrase, the crowd truly erupted and lost their minds.
Last but not least, we reached the headliner of the show, the iconic Sleeping with Sirens. The fans of this show really showed up and showed out. There were several fan-made signs that even mentioned a couple celebrating their eight-year anniversary! Once the band hopped on stage, it didn't take long for them to corral the crowd and get the entire floor moving.

The band opened up the show with the energetic track Kick Me, making the crowd go absolutely nuts. They included newer songs in their setlist such as "An Ending In Itself," "Forever/Always," and "House of Matches." However, the majority of the setlist was older tracks and fan favorites, such as "The Bomb Dot Com V2.0," "A Trophy Father's Trophy Son," "Better off Dead," and so many more. Frontman Kellin Quinn emphasized gratitude towards the crowd for taking care of each other and coming together in unity for a special night. Even shouted out producer Will Yip, the Philly native who also helped produce their most recent record.

The band wrapped up the show with the most iconic of iconic Sleeping With Sirens song. Every emo kid, whether it was just a phase or not, screamed their hearts out as the band closed the show with "If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn" and "If You Can't Hang." I️ kid you not, during "If You Can't Hang," the whole floor (balcony included) was shaking. It was one of the coolest yet most terrifying things I️ have ever experienced.
Sleeping with Sirens have a few more dates left on their U.S. tour; however, have no fear, they're taking this tour all over the world. Starting early next year, the band will be stopping in Latin America, Europe and the U.K., Australia, and Asia. Check out their upcoming dates below!
