What do you get when you cross the Frog, Jay Christian, Crunchyroll, and a desire to combine music with storytelling and surrealism? Well... you should've said LORE and I would have told you that you were spot on. The project is gearing up to release their debut UP, "Prologue", and it is sure to be a release that has the potential to make waves in the music world.

Don't get me wrong. I love myself some heavy breakdowns, chunky riffs, and vocals that you need a dictionary to understand. Yet, sometimes a nice funky time is needed. You know those moments. Those moments where you're driving to work before the sun even begins to rise and you just need something to fuel a day of positivity. "Prologue" is absolutely the release to scratch that itch. I keep finding myself replaying the EP's 5 songs over and over while falling in love with a new section each and every listen. Speaking about the EP, the duo state:

"We couldn’t be more excited to finally share the first chapter of Lore with the world. From the very beginning, this project has been about creating something bigger than ourselves we did our best to create this immersive blend of sound, story, and surrealism. Releasing our debut single “Senpai” with Isaac Wilson feels like opening the door into that world for the very first time, and this is only the beginning. With “Prologue” on the horizon, we can’t wait for everyone to experience the journey we’ve been building."

Each and every song on this EP leaves the listener with something they can claim as their favorite. From the features on songs like "Senpai" and "Starseeker" to the lo-fi vibes of "Santa Cruz Blues," to the beach day vibes of "Bolado", there is something for every type of music fan. Oh, you thought I forgot about "Nightwhere Club"? How could I, with those early 2000's scene music type screams!?

I foresee LORE getting the exact type of love from the heavy music scene that bands like Bilmuri and This Wild Life have gotten over the years. LORE is sure to set the music scene ablaze and you should get in on the ground level while you still can! Take it from me, this EP just has that magic "something" that is sure to take a hold and just not let go.
