On March 22nd, Natalie Jane finally made it to her Philadelphia stop at Underground Arts on the The World I Didn't Want Tour, celebrating her 2025 album, which shares the same name. Joining her on the North American leg of the tour is alt-pop artist Colby!

Colby started the show off with a bang. From Texas, she and her brother RJ, on guitar, blend alt-pop with relatable themes. Her stage presence and energy were on point, while also showcasing an incredible vocal range. Her setlist featured songs off her 2025 EP "FINE," such as "You" and "To Each Their Own." She also performed her most recent single, "Small Town Sins." Colby's set was a perfect mix of upbeat and mellow, getting fans prepped and ready for Natalie Jane.

From New Jersey, Natalie Jane gained massive popularity on TikTok with her insanely powerful vocals, with a blend of pop and indie. Celebrating the release of her album "The World I Didn't Want," the album talks about self-identity and mental struggles that people go through. It adds a new and emotional layer to her music and allows her to go all out in her performances.
Natalie's intro to her set was one of the most unique I've seen, with the audience being simulated into a train station with a voice-over track playing on the loudspeakers, with Natalie arriving at the stop and then performing her first song, "any1 but myself." The intro to this set was visually and audibly pleasing, with the fan blowing in Natalie's hair, and the extra stage lights added an extra punch to the music. There's always a difference when you hear songs live, and having a drummer in the back helped elevate Natalie's music even more.

A few more songs into the set, Natalie moved to the red piano behind her with patches of grass on top of it. The lights dimmed, and she performed two songs, "R U Gonna Love Me?" and "Girls Will B Girls." This was a nice, intimate moment that Natalie and her fans got to share, and Natalie's insane vocals shone the brightest here.

Sometimes in between songs, Natalie would take the opportunity to get to know her fans a little better, with her even playing a good old-fashioned game of "Put a Finger Down," asking fans general questions like if they've recently been in a breakup, but this crowd was romantically stable, as not many fingers went down in the crowd, which made for a funny and sweet moment with Natalie and her fans.

Continuing with her set, Natalie saved some of her most popular songs for last, like "Seven," "Intrusive Thoughts," and "AVA." She even performed her most recent single, "Sabotage." Natalie then closed the night out with "Can I See You Tonight."
With Underground Arts normally being a 21+ venue, this show became an all-ages show 3 days before, which definitely made the crowd a smaller one, but this show proved that although a crowd can be small, it can be mighty. It made for a high-energy and intimate concert experience, and I couldn't recommend seeing Natalie Jane live more. Mixed with the sheer talent of her vocals and personality, she is someone I'd love to see live again. And you can as well, as Natalie has a few dates left on her North American leg of the tour, ending on March 30th. Her European leg of the tour starts on April 18th and ends on May 4th.
