Walt Lontkowski, better known as Walt Hamburger, is a Wisconsin native who jumped onto the punk scene, bringing one of the most lovable parts of punk: the energy. With his sharp wit, emotional depth, and infectious energy, it's no wonder he has had such success within this scene, even as a guy with just a guitar on stage.

Of course, he hasn't always been alone under the stagelights. His first rise on stage was with a MySpace-era band he got his namesake from, The Hamburgers. That was the turning point for Walt. Gifting him chance meetings with some heavy names in the industry, such as Joey Cape. Joey later gave Walt the opportunity of a lifetime to build a record with him at his One Week Records in 2015. It had such a great response that he became the first artist under One Week to release a second album, titled You Aren't Here, in 2018. Sprinkle some small single releases and touring internationally in there, and you've got the man that stands before you today.

With his signature energy and emotion, this time backed with a band, Walt brings us his newest release, ...And Louie. This album is his sentiment on modern dating and meeting his current partner. I had the honor of sitting down and having my first interview with this down-to-earth guy. We talk about Brandi Carlile, what we would do with aliens, and his new album in this MSM exclusive interview.
