Given the name Dominic Harrison at birth, his fans call him Dom, and the world knows him as Yungblud. The protégé of the late Ozzy Osbourne has hit the road again, this time, bringing together fans of his own and those of Black Sabbath who feel his soul within him and his music.

His most recent album, Idols, released earlier this summer, immediately created fan favorites such as "Zombie," "Hello Heaven, Hello," and "Lovesick Lullaby." In the past, collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly, Halsey, and Avril Lavigne have proven his genuine, pure heart and infectious personality have earned him trust and friendship in the music world.

On September 9, Milwaukee was the next stop on the IDOLS tour for the Yungblud crew, selling out the largest room at The Rave, the Ballroom. Fans waited patiently outside of the venue as early as 6am to secure front-row spots on the barricade; some had even decked out their outfits with custom print work and design or made friendship bracelets inspired by Yungblud's songs and lyrics.

Yungblud is constantly bringing his vision to life through fashion, music, and his audience. The fans are truly passionate about his music and how it connects with them, some even holding up signs in line about how his music has saved their lives.

Before Yungblud took the stage, the venue's fitting choice of an opening act, Sawyer Hill, woke this crowd up. The second he and his band took the stage, there were already fans singing along to original tracks. It became obvious he was the perfect choice when he covered "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash, remixed into a rock version; super interesting. In combination with his raw guitar and vocal talent, he is a true performer with loads of presence on stage. Next up, his new album, Heartbreak Hysteria, is out September 12.

Shortly after the opening act, the crew and stagehands began dressing the stage with the gear to support Yungblud's massive performance. Pedalboards for bassists and guitarists were set to stage right and left, and a single mic stand was at center stage.

As fans waited in the crowd, the tension began to grow as the show time shortly approached. Then, the lights subtly began to fade to black as the touring band began entering the stage. Like a rocket, Yungblud appeared upon the stage dressed in his signature leather everything. Wearing some rockstar sunglasses, he sang out the first lyrics of "Hello Heaven, Hello," which began to ring out over the speakers. Like a choir, the audience joined in, singing each and every word back to him.

For the first 10 minutes of Yungblud's performance, he was reaching for the highest possible energy within himself and the crowd. Jumping, screaming, and getting everyone's hands in the air looks exhausting, but you can tell he loves the energy exuded in the crowd, and he absorbs it.

One of the most interesting moments of the night came during his song "Fleabag." At the last chorus, Yungblud made a trip down into the crowd, balancing his two feet upon the crowd's hands and reaching out to the fans to have them sing the words back to him. Watching him not only sing but also balance across the fans' hands at the same time was a true feat.

A quick nod must also be sent to the spectacular lighting design on this tour; crisp, cool white lights dressed the backdrop on the stage, as cool purples and reds were scattered throughout for certain songs. It made capturing this show in all of its glory an absolute delight. Especially during "Fire," one of Yungblud's newest tracks, which was perfectly colored in red lights, making for a picture-perfect moment during this song's introduction.

As the night came to a close, the emotional cover of "Changes" by Black Sabbath brought this crowd to a raw and emotional state. This tribute to Ozzy Osbourne was necessary for not only Yungblud's mourning but also the mourning of the fans, too.

During the introduction of this song, Yungblud said, "I will love you [the crowd] until my last breath." Similarly to the late Prince of Darkness, who has metaphorically passed the torch unto Yungblud, he loved his fans dearly and knew the power that American fans and Western culture hold over musical success.

To add a cherry on top, after the show was over and the doors had closed, Yungblud took to the rooftop of The Rave and began waving to fans out the top-floor balcony. Eventually, he made his way to the beer garden, where he took pictures and signed autographs with fans, a treat for the dedicated fans who stuck around after the show.

Overall, this tour is one of a kind. Yungblud's performance and vocal capabilities are the best they have ever been, stamina- and entertainment-wise. It shows that he is entering a new era, opening a new chapter in his journey. It's really happening for Yungblud right now, and this tour isn't over yet! Get tickets to a show near you, here.
