On June 17th, 2026, Jinjer's Duél North American tour made its 10th stop of the tour at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. This tour is the final tour cycle for their 2025 album, "Duél." Joining them on this tour are Crystal Lake and Entheos.
ENTHEOS

Entheos is a heavy-hitting progressive death metal band. Vocalist Chaney Crabb and drummer Navene Koperweis are currently touring with guitarists Scott Carstairs (one of the founding members of Fallujah) and Allegaeon's Michael Stancel. It was shocking to see Carstairs on stage with Entheos, especially since Fallujah is currently on tour with Between the Buried and Me, but it was a pleasant treat for all! Entheos is an incredible treat to begin with, but adding in Carstair's dreamy guitar tone really elevated the experience! This was probably the best I have ever heard Entheos sound, which is saying a lot because I have seen them six other times, and all of those times were incredible as well. Crabb has such a powerful stage presence, and it is really great to see performers genuinely having a good time on stage.

Entheos played an 11-song set consisting of songs such as "Absolute Zero," "I Am the Void," and "Sinking Sun." It was interesting to see them perform only newer material, but I definitely was not upset with the setlist they picked for this! It was lively throughout their whole set, and they really got people moving by the end of it!
CRYSTAL LAKE

Crystal Lake is a metalcore band based out of Tokyo, Japan. This was my first time being able to see them perform live. I was nervous because I haven't listened to them much since the unfortunate departure of their original vocalist, Ryo Kinoshita. However, they did have Myke Terry from Volumes filling in on vocals for this tour. I feel like he did an incredible job filling in, and it sounded very close to Ryo's original vocals. The set included a majority of newer material, including songs like "Everblack" and "Never Sleep," but they did play a few off their first album, "Helix." Every member had an incredible amount of energy to match their fiery tracks. It was a very fun and entertaining performance!

JINJER

Last to take the stage was Jinjer from Donetsk, Ukraine. I have also seen Jinjer a few times now, but holy moly, they stepped up their live performance so much in just a few short years! The lighting and visual screens behind and underneath the drum kit were impressive and captivating! Not to mention the sassy and powerful stage presence of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk.

This set was entertaining from start to finish. There was never a moment where it felt like the energy was dwindling from the band or the crowd! They played 16 songs total, nearly half of which came from their 2025 album, "Duél." The other half was a great mix of material from throughout their discography. Longtime fans and new listeners would both be enthralled with this setlist!

Jinjer performed quite a lengthy set, but it went by so quickly. I was sad to see it come to an end. The crowd seemed to thoroughly enjoy the performance as well. I would highly recommend trying to make it out to a performance that is coming near you on the remaining dates for this tour, which is shockingly nowhere near finishing! This tour will be running through until July 25th, so there is no excuse to miss Jinjer on their final run for "Duél."
