I feel when talking about the world of music, it is next to impossible to stand out. Yet, there are some bands that make it seem easy. Other artists take that already hefty challenge and up it a few notches by going at it as a solo-artist because... well, who doesn't like an extra bit of challenge I guess. How does one stand out? How does one elevate their musical capabilities to capture the heart, soul, and attention of fans? If you're still interested in finding out, or in this case learning of someone who is taking that challenge and making it seem easy, keep on reading.

Lily Forte is here and dead-set on taking the music world by storm. With a background in all things music and an ability to harness timeless sounds of Carole King and Amy Winehouse, she is delighting fans with a brand new release. After the success of "Miles To Go", Forte's new release, "Out of the Blue", is sure to continue to showcase her musical talent. As someone who almost religiously listens to metal, hardcore, and aggressive music, even I have had the release on repeat. "Out of the Blue" serves as the second single release for her upcoming album set to release in the beginning of 2026.

The new single has stemmed from an unfortunate circumstance that plenty of us have had experienced. An erupt break-up done by phone call serves as the inspiration for the song. With lyrics like “are you crying out my name while I’m
crying over you?”, you can tell that Forte has poured her heart and soul into the release. When speaking about the song, Forte explains:

“I felt intrigued by the thought of transmitting to someone through song. Like if I write these words, maybe he will finally hear me.”

With haunting vocals, a steady yet infectious beat to follow along to, and somehow a sense of hope for the future and what is to come, listeners are sure to be obsessed with the release. This deep level of storytelling accompanied by an ability to make a song so personable and still relatable is something that is sure to turn Lily Forte into a household name in no time.

Too long, didn't read? Let me try and give you a quick summary. First, shame on you. Go back and give this article a read and then give the release a listen. Second, Lily Forte is here to make herself the next "IT" performer and you should get yourself your ticket now before the only time you'll be able to hear her is from the parking lot of the sold-out venue.
