Nothing beats a hot Tuesday night in Dallas, TX like watching the Dallas Stars kick some ass in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I couldn't think of anything better to do. What's that? You decided to skip watching hockey to go to the sold out show at the House of Blues to see a sold-out show, featuring Turnover playing Peripheral Vision live in full for the first time, alongside Horse Jumper of Love and Balance And Composure? Dang, sounds like an amazing time and I wish I could have been there!

Starting the night off was Horse Jumper of Love. With several years of experience, it is no surprise as to why fans erupted into a roar of applause as the band took the stage. The band set the tone for the night and ensured that fans were in for a night of fun, vibes, and good times. As the band continued to play, all you could see was a sea of fans having the time of their life while singing along almost as loud as the band was playing. While this was my first time hearing the band, I desperately hope it won't be my last.

Hitting the stage next was Balance And Composure. I've heard of the band for years now, but have yet to have the luxury of seeing them perform until this recent moment in Dallas. All I can say is "wow" because I have been missing out and it is no surprise to me why the band has been cited as such an influence to many others in the music scene. Their ability to sing heart wrenching songs with a somewhat upbeat tempo while still keeping that "emo" feel was nothing short of amazing. How much longer do I need to wait for Balance And Composure to make their return to Dallas? I will be sure to buy a ticket immediately!

After much hanging out, rocking out, and having the time of their lives, fans finally got to experience the moment they were waiting for: Turnover to take the stage. Capturing the hearts of fans since 2009, Turnover hails from Virginia Beach, VA, and has been a staple in the emo/indie rock music scene ever since. I'm not going to lie, when the band took the stage, I was prepared for some heavy feels in the music.
Well... I at least thought I was prepared, until the first note left that guitar and I could feel a wave of sadness and relief overtake my body until I was a crying pool of emotions in the photo pit. I wasn't alone because my fellow photographers were also crying and singing their hearts alongside fans and venue staff, as Turnover continued to deliver the most amazing performance I've ever had the chance to experience. Getting to experience and hear "Cutting My Fingers Off" was something that shook me to my core and made me feel things that I am sure I wasn't even sure I knew I wanted to feel.
Finding the right word to describe the talent of the band during this Dallas stop is proving to be difficult. Each carefully crafted note that was played, each specific word in the lyrics left the crowd in a puddle of emotions as fans from the barricade to back of the venue to the upper seats were on the feet singing along to each and every word. Seeing the sea of fans having the time of their lives was a sight to behold.

All I can say is getting experience the album played by the band was nothing short of incredible. A sold-out show of fans who were ready to show Turnover just how much this album meant to them was exactly the reminder the music scene needed to remember just how influential and incredible music can be. If you have a chance to catch this tour, you need to stop everything you are doing and buy yourself a ticket because this type of opportunity might just pass you by.
