After being broken up for nearly a decade, Atlanta-based metalcore legends, Woe, Is Me, have returned to the limelight. Woe, Is Me was formed in 2009 and blew up overnight, with many fans citing them as one of the most influential metalcore bands of the 2000s, and the Warped Tour “scene.” The band has played a handful of shows since reuniting, but Blue Ridge Rock Fest 2023 was one of their most anticipated sets since returning to the stage. I got to sit down with vocalists, Hance Alligood and Michael Bohn, to discuss the band’s triumphant return to the stage, their two new singles “Ghost” and “Red,” and what’s to come for the band as time rolls on.
